Ahvaz (IP) – Hur al-Azim Wetland is the largest border wetland in Iran, covering ​​more than 120,000 hectares in the Dasht-e Azadegan region of Khuzestan province southwestern of the country.

The water intake of Hur al-Azim Wetland is critical due to the lack of water inlet and the water condition of dams, and the emptiness of reservoirs. Currently, the intake rate of Hur al-Azim Wetland is 60%.
